Brentwood, is great for so many reasons. One of the biggest reasons really is where it’s located. So it is really almost right smack in the middle of St. Louis City and St. Louis County. It is just South of Clayton. It butts right up to Highway 40, a little bit North of Webster and Kirkwood. So you can get anywhere really quickly, mostly because of how close it is to Highway 40 and inner city 170. So you can pretty much be at the airport in 10 minutes or so, if you work in Clayton, you can be there super quickly. Super close to lots of stuff.
Hey, are you looking at the best places to live in St. Louis? There are lots of them out there and it helps to know a little bit about the neighborhoods and some of the hidden secrets to each of them. Today, we are going to be talking about the Clifton Heights area.
The Central West End is one of my all time favorite parts of St Louis. Yes, yes…I lived there for 7 years and made friends of a lifetime but even without those fantastic people, just the neighborhood alone would have been worth it. So close to Forest Park that we in fact rode our bikes to fantastic events such as the Great Forest Park Balloon Race and the Shakespeare Festival.
Selling a house and buying at the same time sounds like a lot to deal with but it absolutely can be done. I have three tips on how to make it happen with the pros and cons of each.
Hi there. Are you looking at neighborhoods in St. Louis? My name is Johanna Dueren and I’m a realtor with Circa Properties here in beautiful St. Louis, Missouri. And today we are touring Tower Grove South.
Lafayette Square is located in the city of Saint Louis, and it really has a fantastic location. You are just south of downtown. You’re just west of Soulard, so you can get to all the fun things that happen in Soulard. It butts right up to highway 44, so if you need to get out west pretty quickly, you can. I do have some clients that live in Lafayette Square but work over in Illinois just because they’re looking for something a little bit more charm in character over here in Saint Louis, but still are able to get across the river pretty quick.
If you’re living in St Louis or if you’re thinking about living in St Louis, it’s good to know the Pros and Cons of any city. I have got three of each, so stick around.
University City is very centrally located in St. Louis. It is really close to major highways. It’s just north of Highway 40 or 64 and just east of Highway 170, which gets you straight to the airport. Also, very close to Washington University, Forest Park and Clayton, so University City has got a really desirable location.
What are closing costs? Seems like a simple question, but there is a lot of confusion about what these fees are, who charges them and really the most important thing is how much the fees are going to be. So that is exactly what we’re going to be talking about today.
Maplewood is right smack in the middle of St Louis. It is right between two of the major highways, Highway 64 and Highway 44, so you can really get anywhere in St Louis, super fast from being in Maplewood. It is also right down Big Bend from Clayton, so anybody wanting to work in Clayton or anybody that is working downtown can get anywhere they need to actually super fast. The other thing that is fun about the location of Maplewood, is that it is right on the western border of St Louis city, so you get a little bit of that funkiness of the city. It’s more, it’s a little bit hipper community. It’s a little, it’s got more … it’s not quite as suburban, I should say. It’s a little bit funkier than say, Webster and Kirkwood, which are a little bit, still farther to the west and it’s definitely more affordable.
