Lafayette Square is located in the city of Saint Louis, and it really has a fantastic location. You are just south of downtown. You’re just west of Soulard, so you can get to all the fun things that happen in Soulard. It butts right up to highway 44, so if you need to get out west pretty quickly, you can. I do have some clients that live in Lafayette Square but work over in Illinois just because they’re looking for something a little bit more charm in character over here in Saint Louis, but still are able to get across the river pretty quick.

University City is very centrally located in St. Louis. It is really close to major highways. It’s just north of Highway 40 or 64 and just east of Highway 170, which gets you straight to the airport. Also, very close to Washington University, Forest Park and Clayton, so University City has got a really desirable location.
What are closing costs? Seems like a simple question, but there is a lot of confusion about what these fees are, who charges them and really the most important thing is how much the fees are going to be. So that is exactly what we’re going to be talking about today.
Maplewood is right smack in the middle of St Louis. It is right between two of the major highways, Highway 64 and Highway 44, so you can really get anywhere in St Louis, super fast from being in Maplewood. It is also right down Big Bend from Clayton, so anybody wanting to work in Clayton or anybody that is working downtown can get anywhere they need to actually super fast. The other thing that is fun about the location of Maplewood, is that it is right on the western border of St Louis city, so you get a little bit of that funkiness of the city. It’s more, it’s a little bit hipper community. It’s a little, it’s got more … it’s not quite as suburban, I should say. It’s a little bit funkier than say, Webster and Kirkwood, which are a little bit, still farther to the west and it’s definitely more affordable.
